Malir (Reporter )An alleged encounter took place between Shah Latif police and suspected criminals near Brohi Chowk in the jurisdiction of Shah Latif Police Station.According to police claims, the suspects were attempting to flee after looting citizens when police intercepted them. Upon seeing the police, the suspects opened fire, prompting police to retaliate. In the exchange of fire, three suspects were injured, one of whom was taken into custody.The arrested suspects have been identified as Ali Murad, Fayaz, and Yousuf. Police said they recovered two pistols with ammunition, four mobile phones, two motorcycles, and cash from the suspects’ possession. The injured suspect was shifted to the hospital for immediate medical treatment.Officials added that the recovered weapons have been sent for forensic examination, while the seized motorcycles are being verified with the AVLC. According to police, the suspects are habitual offenders who had previously been arrested in multiple cases and served jail terms before being released. Legal proceedings are underway
