Sindh Cabinet Approves Rs3,451.87 Billion Budget for Fiscal Year 2025-26

The Sindh Cabinet has approved a budget of Rs3,451.87 billion for the fiscal year 2025-26 during a pre-budget meeting chaired by Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah at the Chief Minister’s House on Friday. The session was attended by the Sindh Chief Secretary, provincial ministers, advisors, special assistants, and senior officials. The budget proposals were thoroughly reviewed to ensure they address the province’s key priorities.

Chief Minister Shah noted that the proposals were gathered from across Sindh under the directives of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. He emphasized that the PPP has consistently prioritized public welfare and national interests in its governance. The upcoming budget will focus on meeting the public’s needs while also providing relief to government employees.
