In separate messages commemorating World Teachers’ Day, Sindh Governor Muhammed Kamran Khan Tessori and Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah paid tribute to educators, recognizing them as the nation’s architects and a source of pride.
Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah stated that the provincial government honors the dedicated services of teachers, noting that the entire foundation of education rests upon their hard work and sincerity. He emphasized that the role teachers play in advancing education is unforgettable.
Shah reaffirmed the Sindh government’s commitment to the welfare and professional development of its teaching workforce, asserting that without teachers, “the lamp of knowledge and awareness cannot remain lit.”
He highlighted the theme for World Teachers’ Day 2025, “Reinventing Teaching as a Collaborative Profession,” stating it serves as a timely reminder that fostering mutual cooperation among educators is crucial for improving the education sector.
The Chief Minister described Sindh’s teachers as the backbone of the education system, adding that “innovation, inclusion, and collaboration in education are the keys to progress.”
He outlined the government’s efforts to expand training programs and professional opportunities for teachers, concluding that teaching is not merely a job, but a mission.
