Karachi (Reporter) SSP Malir announced a major achievement of the district police during a press conference, revealing the arrest of the prime suspect involved in the murder of a police officer within the jurisdiction of Bin Qasim Police Station.According to police, the arrested suspect has been identified as Ghulam Qadir Lashari, who was apprehended during an operation near Port Qasim. During interrogation, the suspect confessed to planning the attack along with his accomplices.
It may be recalled that police officer ASI Khan Muhammad Abro, posted at Steel Town Police Station, was martyred in a firing incident. The case was registered under FIR No. 2025/340 at Bin Qasim Police Station, carrying sections 34, 302, and 7-ATA.SSP Malir further stated that raids are continuing to arrest the remaining absconding accomplices and more developments are expected soon.
