Karachi (P R) A historic MoU was signed between Engro Coal Mines (Thar Foundation) and TANG International in partnership with Yunnan Land and Resources Vocational College (YLRVC) in Tharparkar. The agreements aim to promote education, skill development and global cooperation, paving the way for transformational opportunities in Pakistan.
The signing ceremony of the agreement was held at Sindh Engro Coal Mine Corporation and was attended by Aamir Iqbal (CEO, ENGRO), Farhan Ansari (President, Thar Foundation), Mahmood Akhtar Cheema (Chairman, IUCN), Dr. Taha Hussain Ali (VC, MUET), Dr. Mahesh Malani, government officials and other important figures from academia, and industry. Stakeholders hailed the initiative as a turning point for Thar and Pakistan, which will create new avenues for innovation, development and community empowerment.
