Malir (Reporter) Massive water theft continues near Ghaghar under the alleged negligence and patronage of the Karachi Water Corporation administration, leading to a tragic incident.According to reports, an 8-year-old boy, Muaz, fell into an illegal water line used for stolen supply and drowned. After continuous efforts by local residents and rescue teams, the child was pulled out in critical condition.Residents alleged that with the backing of Water Corporation officials and local influential figures, illegal hydrants and water theft have been operating for years, but no action has been taken despite repeated complaints.
The locals have demanded the government and higher authorities take immediate action against the water theft mafia and ensure justice for the child’s family.
