Karachi (Report : Subhan Baloch)A luxury Range Rover reported stolen in the United Kingdom has been traced to the Saddar area of Karachi, Sindh police confirmed on Wednesday.
According to a letter sent by Interpol’s Manchester office at the request of UK police, the black Range Rover was stolen from Harrogate on 22 November 2022. The correspondence requests assistance from Pakistani authorities to recover the vehicle and carry out related inquiries.
The letter, which UK police supplied to Sindh police, states that the vehicle’s tracker lost contact in Leeds. A subsequent signal placed the vehicle in Karachi: Interpol’s information shows the tracker’s last known fix as 11 February 2025, at a location described as Korangi Road — Azam Basti, Saddar. Interpol also noted the Range Rover’s full details are recorded in its SMVD database.
Following receipt of the Interpol communication, Sindh police initiated search and recovery procedures in the Saddar area, officials said. The agency has been asked to coordinate with UK authorities to facilitate the vehicle’s repatriation.
No arrests have been reported so far, and police did not immediately disclose whether the vehicle has been located or recovered. Investigations are ongoing and more details are expected as officers work with Interpol and UK police to verify ownership and pursue recovery.
